Coaching or Done-For-You: What Does Your Business Actually Need?
Daniel Desiderio

Two different problems
Some owners know what to do and need help doing it. Others are capable of doing the work but are not sure it is the right work. These are different problems and they need different solutions.
When coaching is enough
If you have a capable team and the capacity to execute, but decisions keep getting made on instinct, coaching is usually the higher-leverage option. You get an outside view, a structure to work to, and someone holding the standard.
When you need execution
If the team is already at capacity, or the skill simply is not in the building, advice will not move the needle. A plan handed to a team with no time to run it is just extra pressure. In that case you need someone to build and run it with you.
Often it is both
In practice most businesses start with a diagnostic and a roadmap, then hand over the parts they cannot resource internally. The right answer is whichever gets the work actually done.
